AcerAspire 5 USB 3.0 power off charging help. I have a problem with USB 3.0 port on my Aspire 5 (A515-51G-58JS). So i recently purchased Corsair k95 rgb keyboard which I plug into USB 3.0 port. The problem is that when I turn the laptop off, the keyboard lights keep working. The only thing that helps is if I unplug and plug the keyboard back
Goto ELAN Tab on Mouse Properties. The problems I see are that. 1) the "Enable Device" is ghosted (whether or not any external devices are plugged in) 2) "Disable when external USB pointing device plug in" is checked, even after I uncheck it and Restart. it sets this back to "checked" status no matter what.
Nowplug in your USB device to check if it is working. 2. Install Drivers from Manufacturer's Website. Click on Start. Type Control Panel in the search box and hit Enter. Now click on Programs - > Programs and Features. Locate the USB that is not working. Right-click USB driver and click Uninstall.

First SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT in case the new drivers foul you up. Then, go to Control Panel,System, Advanced System Settings, Hardware, Device Installation Settings, and allow Windows to install drivers automatically. Then leave your computer connected to the internet for a few hours. See if that improves things.
Pressand hold shift + control + option and then press the power button. Hold all four keys down for 10 seconds. Release the keys and power button all at the same time. Press the power button to turn on your Mac. When the Mac starts back up, the SMC will have reset. Check to see if your USB device works.
